The CCSD has had exceptional trustees for many years and adding Kimberly to that team would continue this tradition. The Cichon family has a long history of being strong supporters of Catholic education and this seems to be a logical next step in that journey.
I know Kimberly to be devoted Catholic that is passionate about what she does and lives her life to serve. These are all exceptional attributes that would benefit this wonderful school district.
Faith, passion and service oriented; this is what you want in a trustee that understands the power of publicly funded Catholic education and continue the excellent opportunities that it provides for its students. I believe this is what Kimberly will provide for you.
One of the most important gifts we are given as citizens of a country is the right to vote. It is a sacred trust between the electorate and the candidate trusting that our voices will be heard through them. In Alberta with the right to Catholic Education our vote is even more important. We aren’t only electing competent people but competent people who are rooted in their Faith and are prepared to be an advocate for it. Kimberly qualifies in both these areas. Her competency comes from being a wife and mother, a master’s degree in special education, a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a volunteer parent working in the schools... As a future trustee she knows her role is governance the kind of governance that places God at the heart of every decision. She recognizes that the graduating students of Calgary Catholic must not only have an exemplary education but must be prepared to be missionary disciples ready to challenge the social justice issues of the day rooted in their Faith in and knowledge. Having worked with her on the GrAce Committee (Grateful Advocates of Catholic Education) I know her passion and dedication to Calgary Catholic and to Catholic education. She is a strong advocate, one who is prepared to speak for the students and parents and willing to fight for Catholic Education at all levels. Her presence will be an asset at the board table of Calgary Catholic.

Supporting Kimberly as your next CSSD Trustee is a decision that parents, students, and teachers—both now and in the future—will thank you for.
For Kimberly, your vote is far more than a number; it’s her reason and mission to serve you with compassion, clarity, and conviction in love. Choosing Kimberly ensures that every CSSD school community in Wards 11 & 12 will be seen, heard, and supported.

I would like to personally endorse Kimberly Cichon with her bid to become a Catholic School Board Trustee. I spent 10 years working with youth at risk of falling into gangs. One of the biggest areas that I see for improvement and engagement in these young men is the role of education. Unfortunately the system doesn't always work for those on The Fringe and I believe Kimberly with her background is ready to listen to ideas and alternatives to support children in all stages of their education and look at models to support those that are falling through the cracks now. I know that Kimberly has a heart for education and the love for her community and her church.

Kimberly devoted countless volunteer hours to developing and coordinating a literacy program for my grade 1/2 class. What I enjoy most about her is her humour! Get ready for some great laughs alongside tireless labours. Kimberly serves God with joy.
